https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCox8wIHBlk (Avengers Endgame ULTIMATE Audience Reactions (THE REAL VERSION))
I think it's interesting to see how much less annoying the audience reaction was for Star Wars. At first when I saw the Star Wars one I thought "wow, even back then the audience couldn't shut the hell up" but then I remembered watching Avengers Endgame in theaters and how the audience burst out with applause every time they saw someone enter the frame. I think that the SW one is a lot more appropriate seeing as the only parts worth putting in the video were actually important points and they stopped pretty much right when they needed to. It's not excessive so I don't think it's wrong for them to enjoy themselves. As opposed to the Avengers audience where all they needed was for Robert Downey Jr to walk on screen and they'd have a fucking meltdown. I guess that's what the movie was meant for so I shouldn't blame them, since they're only cattle responding as they're trained to, but it's still annoying.

Some months ago, I found these videos about the history of speculative zoology on YouTube.

I've always thought that some people get a little too excited about these movies, but I don't think that's a fair

comparison. The first video shows an audience reacting to a "new" movie, while the second one shows a group of fans reacting to a long-awaited movie. Anyway, I found the first video very interesting since many critics consider Star Wars the first global blockbuster. In fact, some of them think that movie changed the film industry forever by defining what makes a blockbuster film.
By the way, I haven't seen Avengers: Infinity War yet. Actually, I haven't watched a lot of those superhero movies. I'll have to watch them someday.

This channel has some interesting footage of deep sea creatures. Some of these things look like they came from another planet.

Wow, I knew there was stuff like this but I didn't realize how much of it there was, and how much work is put into it. This is fascinating stuff.
>The first video shows an audience reacting to a "new" movie, while the second one shows a group of fans reacting to a long-awaited movie.

I think these are probably better comparisons then. Most of what comes up when you search things like "audience reaction" is interviews with people right out of the theater though, so it's hard to find videos like these. I looked for episode 6 reactions but I couldn't find any, which is a shame because I think that'd be the most comparable to Endgame.
>I haven't watched a lot of those superhero movies. I'll have to watch them someday.
I think the best are probably the Iron man ones, the Captain America ones, and the Avengers ones. The rest are alright for wasting about two hours but they aren't the best thing in the world. Some of them are kind of bad (though I don't think any of them are awful), Ant Man 2 and Spider-man: Homecoming come to mind. They've all got fun enough action though. I've watched all of them since my family makes me, but after Endgame I doubt they care about it anymore so I'm freed from that obligation. It was fun but I can't see how they can keep up the fan excitement after they got rid of the characters that were carrying the whole thing from day one, I doubt that Marvel will have any success on the level of their past movies.

Personally, I think this is a pretty good channel. I came across it by accident when looking for information about The Mask.

I've spent the last few days watching DeepseaOddities and I must admit that I've enjoyed most of those videos. It's a pretty cool YouTube channel. Thank you for sharing it here.
>I think the best are probably the Iron man ones, the Captain America ones, and the Avengers ones
Funnily enough, Iron Man, Captain America and The Avengers are some of the few I've watched so far. From what I remember, those three were quite entertaining, but I wouldn't watch it again. As to the other movies, I'd like to read some comics first before watching them.
>It was fun but I can't see how they can keep up the fan excitement after they got rid of the characters that were carrying the whole thing from day one
I know what you mean. Many people watched these movies because Iron Man and Captain America were in them.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8qmkEKFsCw
It's some sort of 3D animated short. I didn't expect him to include Hanna-Barbera's Godzilla and Zilla Jr. from Godzilla: The Series. That was a nice surprise.

Not a fan of those "history for retards" videos with cartoons but I found this one (there's three or four actually) about Yi Sun-sin quite nice, you can't say reading the wikipedia page is too much better.
I don't know about the rest of the channel yet.

Internet archive has some really good stuff on it, here's the first 17 seasons of the show "How it's Made". It's a nice documentary series where you get to see how raw materials are processed into various goods. Outside of the first season or so, there's practically nothing but footage of the job being done and a voice over.

One of the best things about How It's Made is finding out how interesting the production of some items are. I wouldn't go out of my way to ever find out how any of these products are made but for some reason I am captivated by the production process during the show.

 No.454

A video that attempts to chronologically present the distress transmissions of the HMS Titanic and other involved ships during the incident. Some ships appear to immediately grasp the situation and turn to action (Olympic, Mount Temple and Carpathia, for example), while others appear quite hesitant or are outright unresponsive (Frankfurt and Californian) . The degrading situation aboard the sinking ship also shows through its comms, most near the end being a variation of CQD CQD SOS SOS COME AT ONCE.
