Very nice thread. I've been messing around with custom resolutions on my old tube using xrandr, so I gave these images a shot and they look great. 640x400 at 85hz

And here's them with pseudo interlacing (640x200 scaled 2x vertical at 135hz). I've been using 640x240 for anime and it's very cozy.

Looks nice, but note that the aspect ratio on your display is incorrect. The images are meant to be output with a true 16:10 signal.

It was not hard finding the site, but registering has been nothing short of headscratching. Captcha system seemed to not work most of the time, half the time I attempted submitting I received "FORBIDDEN", and when I did eventually succeed I got immediately permabanned. This left a pretty sour taste, not gonna lie.

The signal is 16:10, though I did use the monitor OSD to stretch the image to fill the screen, since im used to doing that for 4:3 ratios that don't properly display, which probably negated the whole point of using the proper signal. Still getting the hang of this.

Sorry about that experience, seems you triggered false positives for the anti bot system. The captcha should work but the dakuon and handakuon can end up looking similar. It'll be put under maintenance until the system is reworked. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No worries, just remember that PC-9801 graphics are meant to have letterboxing on 4:3 displays. Sidenote, I randomly get detected as a spammer based on IP. It's a flawed detection method now that a lot of people are put behind Carrier Grade NATs, effectively making entire neighborhoods (and even wider areas) share the same public IP.

Sorry about that, we've been having a lot of issues with CP spam and I've been trying different methods to combat it. I'll disable the dns block lists. Just need to figure out how to mass load hash lists from 4plebs and desuarchive..
