What have you all been reading? This was a while back but the Garo one-shot "Where on When" by Kouji Mikomo really blew me away, just recalled it now.

I'm currently reading 60ish different series, slowly. The best one at the moment is 3x3 Eyes, it really manages to make me buy into the adventure and I love the mixture of mysticism and inner city grit.

I'm reading Thomas no Shinzou. Visually it isn't to my taste but the soft BL content and deeper themes are really alluring. and satisfying. Its a lot more enjoyable than I thought it'd be. I don't know why but I really like homoerotic visuals that aren't overly sexual. Repressed inner gayness? lol

Anyway, I really want to get into the Kerberos Panzer series next.

Cool! I have a collection of Moto Hagio one shots in Japanese in my pile of physical manga I need to get to. Right now I have an obscure Ken Ishikawa sci fi thing from that batch I am reading. Kerberos seems very wordy so I'm a bit intimidated.

I got back to reading some Glass Mask. Ayumi really is the best rival character in manga and Miuchi Suzue's page layouts always feel just right. It's sad that it will probably never finish, but it's a masterpiece.

Recommend anything? I'm really enjoying her work so far.

That pile has barely been touched yet unfortunately. Bianca is translated, and is the title short in the volume, and is good. Worth checking out.

Nice! I always scroll past that looking at HnG translations to read - I should check it out sometime.

This isn't the version by Yokoyama they translated, unfortunately. This one was by Kojima & Koike

Katakoi Saburou (1992). I've never been a big fan of Matsumori Tadashi myself but I like this one.

Maraya (1998). Impressive use of colors much like the author other works in the 90s.
You don't really see fantasy like this anymore. I mean, most fantasy nowadays is just isekai or party dungeon exploration shit. When was the last time a fantasy show that wasn't like that aired? Bastard!! but that was an adaptation of a series from 1988.
Compared to other works by Yasuhiko it's nothing special, but it is impressive to look at. Especially the way he draws dragons. Much like Arion it was inspired by Frazetta fantasy.

It was also the last time he was involved with cels, and I wonder if this was supposed to get an OVA.
