This site is already pretty slow, there's no reason not to discuss older mecha anime on /ar/ right now. Making a new board would probably just lead to two even deader boards.

/m/ doesn't have an issue with older mecha not getting discussed the same way /a/ does with older anime not getting discussed, So there would be no one to populate it with.
