I feel like we could use some classic 88x31 buttons for this site, so you're all encouraged to make them (for particular boards or the site as a whole). PNG for static and GIF for animated. Here's a real simple one I made.

where on the site will these be placed? heres mine, i whipped this up on my phone before bed. i'm not sure how well the green bg looks. i tried yellow to fit in with the sites theme better but it didn't look very good. it's nice making OC, i might make one for /lum/ tomorrow

Very nice, I always loved the little wedding bell sprites.
I was thinking of putting them both on the bottom of the front page (where the doodles used to be) and the gallery page (which will replace the banners page and include banners as well as general OC)
You got any other pages in mind?

the OC page idea sounds cool, similar to what heyuri has on their wiki. i made a second version of the one i did yesterday, using a grey bg. i think it looks a bit better. i also made one for /lum/. i love the little retro sprites too, i wish there were more retro uy games made but i guess by that time ranma was more popular.

thanks anon. i don't know much about graphic design, so i'm glad you think they look good. this site fits a really cool niche that i'm into, and the layout of this site really helps that. i just wish there was a little bit more of a sense of community and more activity. i'm trying being the change i want to see instead of just lurking here .
