im not sure a ten person survey will represent million traffic data sample/range

it's depends on the interest of their viewers I think. All the artists have to do is post their work in their own public gallery, so that people could look at. And then the artist offer commision when they feel like.

i guess you could do an experiment? like keeping track of the views and sales data, making a hypothesis, and then testing your hypothesis using that data...
