I'm slowly playing Armored Core 6. I really haven't been in a gaming mood in recent weeks, but AC6 has been really enjoyable. I'll probably give the older games another try once I'm done with this one. Never could get comfortable with the controls.

For some reason with long running franchises I have this tendency to always play the first games first, instead of playing the latest release.
I think with Armored Core will be the same, but it is not a franchise that really draws me in.

I've recently felt very little drive to actually play video games beyond just jumping on Overwatch with irl friends for a few hours. I really don't know what's gotten into me but I just...don't want to play games...it sucks!

I have slowly been going through FFXVI and I'm not even close to finishing it and feel no drive to finish it. I've also been playing Pikmin 4 and it's fun but another game where I don't really want to play much of it.

Based, I do the same. A few times I break the rules but it's pretty rare. I'm not sure if I'll do that for AC. AC6 somewhat interest me but I don't know if the previous 5 games do.

I started playing Azur Lane a few months ago. It's fun so far and the characters are really hot. I already feel happier with AL over Blue Archive, which I started a year before this, because there are more sexy adult characters than Blue Archive which mostly has sexy teenagers and lolis and only two adults. I'm not an anti or anything, I just greatly prefer sexy adults but my adult woman fetish has been starving for a long time now. During the current event I was lucky enough to roll Owari and Unzen so I bought their skins. I also bought Shinano's and Kashino's skins in anticipation of their eventual banners. I hope to receive Atago as well someday. The sexual appeal of Azur Lane's characters has very much hooked me.
But for the game itself, I like how it can almost be an idle game if you want it to be. I like taking the story at my own snail's pace and just getting resources from main stages since I never care about a gacha game's story anyway, I feel like they drag on a lot and half of them just get really depressing or something.

Here is the Kashino skin as well. I really hope I can get her someday. Even though she has enormous milkers I think she is very cute and I want to touch her soft floppy ears (and breasts and butt). Since I had to make a new post I might as well throw in extra images. Maybe I will contribute more Azur Lane fanart to the cute pictures thread if I find art for my botes that isn't ecchi in nature.

Have any of you guys attempted to gamedev something?
I decided to get back into it with Godot and C#, but the software is soooooo clunky. I get that it being open source may be much more useful on the long run, but even the documentation leads me to devving broken software. Chatbots, servers that are either very slow or filled with groomers, and lacking documentation that sometimes cannot be accesed because the servers hosting the forums went down can only get you so far

I just got done playing a Kohan match on the hardest setting against two computer players at once and won. I would play some Company of Heroes too, but I'm having problems getting the mods I play with working properly. There are missing units and abilities despite me doing what you're supposed to do to prevent that. Oh well. Maybe at some point I'll find a solution.

I'm replaying Team Ico games, currently finishing The Last Guardian. Except the wanky camera it's an awesome game, hunting for trophies seems kind of a pain though, not sure if I'll pull through.

I also began playing Eastward, I love the style and vibe so far. Apparently there is a classic rpg in the game itself that you can finish if you want to, which is a nice idea.

We’ve been using the raylib graphics library which is good enough for whatever we are doing. The library has a python api too which is nice.

I played Halo 3 with a friend last weekend. It was the first time in a while I really enjoyed playing a game with one other person. We fooled around a lot and didn't really worry much about playing well. In otherwords, we just had fun.

So, what kind of game are you making for her?

I'm currently grinding in Stardew Valley. I think I got it in 2016, but I never managed to 100% it. Never even got to the community center, I just married someone and then ended my save file there. I've done pretty good progress, I've almost finished my fishing bundle and need a fire quartz for the blacksmith one. I've always married Shane and have a sweet spot for him but his story line hits too close to home these days.

I just finished Dragon's Dogma. Unfortunately, I didn't really like it. I think I didn't have patience to build my character properly and all the post-game enemies became sponges with way too much HP. Maybe I will enjoy 2 more when that comes out.

Now I'm playing Fire Emblem Three Houses for the first time. Fun game.

I've been playing a lot of Heroes of Might and Magic 2. I usually play it while listening to any interesting podcasts I come across.

do you guys know any fun MMO or sandbox games so i can kill time? i could play anything... i'm really bored.

Currently I'm playing through Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Ape Escape 2, Pillars of Eternity 2 and soon to be Dark Souls 2 and Astro Bot (when it arrives.)

Initial thoughts of each are

Very fun and fantastic in every way, only minor complaints I have are things like some of the music not *really* sounding like something I'd expect in JSR/F (rather something in Tony Hawk or has the *vibe* of JSRF that was established years after by sites like jetsetradio.live), the gameplay is a tad too simple and could benefit from some more difficulty in places, character you can unlock just chilling in random places in older stages you need to seek out instead of skating around so you can find them easier since a lot of them also blend in with the NPC's around if you're not actively looking for them and I personally think "fam" and "cuz" are not words that should be spoken by a few character because they don't fit the tone of a JSR inspired world, overall, minor autistic things. Solid 9/10 otherwise.

Just started it after finishing 1 and really enjoying all the improvements the game had. I was playing the EU version before I learned of the voice acting in the US version and switched over to that instead. It's been really fun so far and I can't wait to unlock more of the gadgets to go for the 100% this time, honestly that was my complaint last time, how the 100% is technically locked behind playing the whole game to get all the gadgets, I'd rather just 100% each stage as I go. Solid 8/10 so far.

Finished 1 last month and while I enjoyed it when it was the gameplay, the story and dialogue was fucking painful to read by the halfway mark. Just exposition after exposition and boring shit I didn't care about mostly. 2 on the other hand has been a blast, I love so much about it from the new characters, to the fact I can make the game turn based which makes me feel a lot more useful (as a Ranger I felt useless in PoE1) and can tell each character to do what I want. I also love that there's no more exposition needed so I can just explore the world and when they mention something I already know what they're on about. Modded the game a bunch to allow for 8 party members so can't wait to get some more. 8/10

I actually haven't started this because I want to start it in 2 days (because I've finished DeS and DS1 on the 8th of the two previous months and I'm doing the same for this). Honestly can't wait to play it so I can see what the fuss was about, even I know this is the black sheep of the franchise and it's finally time to find out why ten years later.

i have finished PoE 1 in december and really liked it. to me the untangling of the ancient secrets was super cool. i rushed the latter half but i get tired easily and only the mystery keeps me going. it was a great thing for me that the final boss was the one explaining what really was going on. for example i never finished bg3 because they revealed everything in act 2 and act 3 was super boring wrap up.

i need to get into poe 2 but it seems straightfoward plotwise, nothing really mysterious.

I'm slowly playing through my horror game backlog, starting with Resident Evil 2 remake. When I get too scared, I switch over to The Typing of the Dead for a palate cleanser.

It's only scary in the beginning when all you have is the weak starting pistol with limited ammunition. Most encounters are trivialized once you get the guns that can one shot headshot enemies. The first couple hours were a seven for me, and the rest of the game was a two.
