/digi/ - 2000s Anime & Manga

Maybe just merge /cel/ and /digi/ together into a single anime board? Yeah its low activity but so is the rest of the site. We just need more damn people. But when newcomers come and look at the boards maybe tags like /digi/ just aren't that intuitive and they overlook it?

Unfortunately the aughts are in a bad place right now - retro fans love the cel aesthetic, new fans want that new era compositing and paint style. It's in this middleground where it gets passed over. Plus the older generation who like 00s anime had it all available when it was current, where 20th century anime gets new first localizations and fansubs all the time, since so much less was brought over when it was current.

Honestly, I forget it exists. I usually use the overboard and pick and choose which thread to post in. Sometimes I post 2000s stuff on cel without really thinking about it.

This might be a good idea, and to stop people talking about currently airing thing you could push that to a single thread if they wanted it. So the board is mostly pre-2000s, scatterings of 2000s threads and one thread of 2010s onwards

Starting threads about anime made in this time period would help. Most people are reactionary and you wont get much activity waiting for others to get the ball rolling and show interest.

Then you just have /a/ which already exists and you will have the same problem you started with.

Maybe change the font to something that not complete pain to look at? Seriously I can't read anything here for more than 2 minutes.
