>>9361That's also weird. The driver numbers are featured quite prominently on both the broadcast and the actual cars. It's usually the easiest way to identify which driver you're looking at (either that or looking at whether the car has a yellow or black T-cam).
There's been a decent amount of branding around driver numbers ever since they switched to free pick in 2014(before that F1 used a variety of systems that would automatically assign driver numbers based on WDC or WCC results).
It's just weird to me when people use initials and driver numbers to refer to drivers instead of using their names. It's not like football where every team has like 30 players on the full roster and there's 20 teams per league so names quickly start repeating.

https://www.youtube.com/@Hokurikumeguri/shortsShe definitely chimped out with the steering wheel but that's pretty normal for racing when someone fucks up and rages. Reddit in particular has a hateboner for her and one thing I see that keeps getting repeated in the comments is some bs about how she got preferential treatment in Euroformula which was some DtS fake fan tier misunderstanding by redditors.
No.9510
>>9509don't remember if that was euroformula or another series, but she literally did have preferential treatment because female entrants had different weight requirements or something along those lines so that's why she could compete at the front even though realistically she might as well have been racing in a separate class
No.9511
>>9509Kek fair enough. Probably doesn't help that she keeps giving ammunition for this hate with her being hyped by the media for driving an F4 car at 11 which is normal nowadays, failing in W Series. barely doing anything against gigashitters in Euroformula quitting after the weight thing got handled. Being found out for cheating in F4 USA and quitting afterwards. Also I always got the impression that Reddit liked her and wanted her to succeed since she's japanese and a woman. An ultimate combination for Reddit

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6XieLRDaIcThis video is fucking hilarious that got her popular. People in the comments are praising her for driving an F4 car at 11 when really she should be developing her driving in karts and getting her title collection like Amx, Lecute, Narg etc. Even Josh Reddit made a video on her treating her like a "talent"
Antonelli is younger than her and is in F1. At least it was successful PR stunt
No.9519
>>9510It was Euroformula but that's a half assed understanding of what happened. What actually happened is that Noda's team was racing in Italian F2000 and Drexler. Euroformula asked her to race in their series in between F2000/Drexler races. When it was pointed out that F2000 uses a lower min weight and that the car was being developed by an F2000 team so it couldn't be easily altered without prep and testing, Euroformula said it was okay to run the car as is and all Euroformula teams agreed. Juju entered, raced for a time and then eventually almost won the 8th race at Hungaroring.
So then Euroformula changed the weight rule to make Juju's car run the same weight as the rest since there was a month long break until the next race and Noda's team could have time to develop it. But then Juju won 10th race at Paul Ricard anyway despite running a heavier car than before. Motopark and Cryptotower, who dominates Euroformula by running 15 out of 19 cars, started complaining and so Euroformula demanded that Noda pull out of F2000 and Drexler because she was getting "too much practice" even though Noda was racing in those series before Euroformula asked them to join. Juju was also leading F2000 and was P2 in Drexler. Unsurprisingly Noda told Euroformula to fuck off and withdrew to finish up F2000, Drexler and also do two BOSS races (where Juju won in her class).

No.9524
>>9522not essentially, but noda's dad developed her skills in an unhealthy route, by abusing her light weight and aggro driving technique, which isn't necessary in higher formula series which always has a minimum weight requirement.
so do the pathway, he avoids her to join any larger competition and not helping her joining some better racing team plus better english, which fucked her off back to japan and being a worst shitter of all super formula drivers.
No.9525
>>9524>by abusing her light weight and aggro driving technique, which isn't necessary in higher formula series which always has a minimum weight requirement.Which series did she drive in that didn't have min weight requirements?
