>>27519Eh, can't really feel sorry for him.
Like you said, it was kinda his own arrogance.
The guy is already a 7 times WDC, rich as fuck, influent and respected by alot of people. He could have retired after recognizing his best phase was behind him.
But nope, he really wanted to win a 8th WDC on a Ferrari (Imagine the articles comparing him to Michael in specific), probably thought the team would be head and heels over him, do everything he says and knowing Lewis has a bit of an ego, legit thought he would succeed where others failed.
You might argue part of what i'm saying is baseless conjecture, but remember the initial statements by him during the start of the year, and how cocky he was.
I think this year served to remind us that Lewis isn't and won't ever be the GOAT, because when he wasn't in a comfortable position, he unperformed greatly, unlike some others candidates.
Hell, fucking Vettel had podiums on Asston Martin

It is just very unfinished with no hope of a S2,
and it doesn't even get to the real starting point of the manga. (it adapts 5 out of 13 vol and stops just before a crucial turning point in the story)
The anime is also CG which can't get close to the unique art of Haruko.

even if they never intentionally sabotaged him there is still clearly a bias towards lando winning the wdc within the team. oscar has to be aware of this and it must be draining going into "work" knowing most of your team don't even want you to win.

It's crazy to see people wishing for PS3 to commit career suicide in the hypothetical scenario of disobeying team orders and letting Lando through for position to win the championship.
It seems obvious that the mclaren drivers would follow team orders when given to them, as we've seen it multiple times this year, and it must be contractually mandated. So, even if people support Oscar and want to see him in a team that could put him in a lead driver seat, the last thing he should do is disagree with team orders in the last race of the year, and wait out '26 to look for another seat in a different team.
I'm sure Webber and PS3 have had conversations about what to do in such situation and, even if PS3 needs to pull off a Vettel 2010 tier win, they would force Zak to stick to his word of letting them race to the bitter end if necessary.
