It's very apparent when you watch some of the local broadcasts.
Palmer and DC will occasionally throw some shade towards the FIA/F1 but it's often very light. To much pussyfooting around issues, never expressing any real opinion if it could make FIA/F1 looks bad.
I think Bossberg might be a bit to hard on Kimi though. Did he himself have the kind of mindset he proposed while he was driving for Williams? Or in his first years with Mercedes?
Seems to me like he only adapted that mindset and lifestyle when he realized the team and the car was in a league of its own and he had strong competition from Hamilton. IE he needed to adapt.
Kimi is a rookie, in a car with varying performance. His teammate is very experience, both within the team and in the sport.

Everyone hypes fake gimi alot and if he can get a pole on a sprint he potential, but if he doesn't "man up" like Rosberg had to at some point, he will waste many years of his career.

I remember that well from my time – it was always his style: vanish, don’t reply, be unreachable. And that’s horrible, because it gives you no chance.”Damn Toto is a cunt to his drivers, but i guess that's to be expected.

No.22523
>>22522I actually heard on FP2 today an interesting fact from one of the BR commentators, who is a motorsport driver and such.
The big problem with FIA and Wet racing right now is a mix of 2 things.
Pirelli tires suck cock and they disintegrate with ease, so to compensate, alot of requirements were made by FIA to have less abrasive asphalt on tracks and this new mix alot of modern tracks are using is very impermeable, so the water has no actual place to escape. Before, like in Interlagos, alot of tracks had tiny holes in the asphalt that allowed for water to flow down and lower the spray.
Now with alot of tracks, the water goes nowhere and alot of fucking spray goes up which completely kills visibility, making Wets a complete joke since you can never use them on the times you are ment to use them because of this.
No.22524
>>22523Why not just make a tire that doesn't suck dick. It's cheaper than resurfacing every track in the world.

That's peak clownery.
No.22530

Maybe that BR commentator knows more but the reason often stated for the spray is the cars themselves, someone even posted a comparison picture of an older redbull and a newer one and it was a big difference.
More water on the track = more spray
But the cars still have to be the biggest factor, here's to hoping next regs will fix it (they won't, why would they even consider it).

>>22670Let's assume we've got 5 numbers:
8 4 2 1 60
To compute the average you just sum them all (75) and divide by the count (5), which here gives you 15.
To compute the median you simply sort them:
1 2 4 8 60
Then you delete numbers from the extremes, one at a time, until you only end up with the number in the middle (4), and that's your median.
As you see, the median is a bit wonky but it doesn't suffer the influence of a single big number thrown in the bunch, so it's used more often than the average in statistics.
