Tuned in to Rumic World!

Took me forever to figure out that Nanao Misaki from Robot Alchemic Drive is a parody of Nanao Kozue from Maison Ikkoku. Including the character design, personality, and even having the same surname.

Nanao Misaki is portrayed as naive, dimwitted, but always optimistic despite her sometimes dire situations. This is an obvious exaggeration of the Maison Ikkoku character.

To Japanese players, the connection would probably be obvious, but in the west, Maison Ikkoku is far less known.
