I don't think about that and neither should you.

Dead series

Dead board

 No.2322

Netflix announced their adaption of Ursuei Yatsura and Maison Ikkoku. Have hope.

 No.2324

Nothing stopping you from talking about Mao lmao.

 No.2325

>>2322
the uy remake already died and it was objectively worse in every way compared to the original, and there is no news on a Maison Ikkoku adaptation

 No.2326

Rumiko's new series are not that good thou, it's just recycled ideas. By the time Rinne was released the shinigami concept had already been done to death, and Mao feels like a darker edgier Inuyasha.

 No.2327

The spirit will never die! Lum is too strong.

 No.2328

>>2326
Rumiko has been recycling ideas since Ranma 1/2 thou.

 No.2329

Rumiko’s work is dry now because the audience for her kind of work just is not there anymore. The worlds she depicts are gone. Her Japan no longer exists. Its now just America 2.0 Asian Edition. I think a lot of artists get stuck in their particular time period and struggle with changing times. Figamin pours sweat, tears, and cum into wapchan, and maybe 15 years ago this place would have hit the sweet spot but in the era of discord human zoos it’s over.

Anon, Japan was ALWAYS America 2.0 Asian Edition, even during Rumiko's time, probably more so then since they were heavily Americanizing fast. You can even see it in her work.

>maybe 15 years ago this place would have hit the sweet spot but in the era of discord human zoos it’s over.

It's never been over, it's just beginning. But it'll take time and 4chan shutting down for good, for the site to really take effect.

 No.2568

>>2566
Yeah but there was still a difference back then. Now it’s just the same slop as Hollywood. Its all dead.

 No.2569

>>2568
It's not the end of world, anon. Things have to end at some point. That's just the cycle of creation. We might be in a decline, but within it will always be someone who'll make something to spawn a whole new golden age.

 No.2570

>>2569
I wouldn’t even say decline, there’s a whole new generation waiting for new ideas and creativity to emerge, even as we speak

 No.2573

>>2566
>4chan shutting down for good
It will be truly an end of an era but I'll welcome it.

 No.2576

>>2573
Give a few more years.
