So recently I happened to adopt an orphan kitten that was given to me by a restaurant owner. For whatever reason the kitten mother have abandon her said the restaurant owner. Therefore starting today, I have to take care of the little female kitten.

I have never taking care of a kitten without it's mother before, so I did some researched about female kitten on the internet. It says that a young kitten of few weeks old are unable urinate itself without the help of its mother. In order for it to urinate, I have to assist the kitten by massaging the its private part

What! Seriously!, I have to really finger the female kitten for it to be able to pee. I hope kindmin don't banned me and delete this thread because this is serious undertaking I have to do for the sake of a poor little female kitten here. Has anyone here has done this before?

I think I had to do that to some animals, I can't remember the specifics. Could be kittens, could be bunnies, or puppies, I can't remember. In general if you really care about the animal, and do not raise it as your personal toy, I'd take it very seriously as it requires a lot of attention and doing things like helping it urinate might get somewhat unpleasant after a few times. Also I think you're getting somewhat carried away as to the best of my knowledge you have to massage not the genitalia itself, but a part of the belly somewhere around there, also clean the urine after you're done.

Yeah, they usually lick the kitten's genitals to make it urinate so you gotta give the kitten head too hehe. I guess you have to be careful with whatever you feed it and rub its genitals with a cotton swab or something, that's what I've heard anyway. You rub it with warm damp cotton or something.

How old is the kitten you adopted?
If the kitten is a few weeks old it already can go to the can on its own, thats for when they are like 1 or maybe 2 weeks old.

Not really irresponsible, i aint a fan of mutilating an animals reproductive capabilities.
As far as the kittens gave them away when they got old enough.
People always looking for kittens to give their kids but this was back in the day i would be a bit more concerned about that now with all the sickos out there now.
