The problem is, I can name a ton of /kind/ anime characters, but many of them are either post 2020 or recently got a remake, and therefore not captcha-friendly. To give a clear example, if we add Frieren or Mao Mao, it won't filter anyone. Kaoru from Kenshin or Horo (I dare you correct me on the R) from S&W, I think, are /kind/, but both recently got remakes. And so we only have CGDCT from 2000s-10s, of which only that many characters are instantly recognizable and people actually remember their names (Konata, Akari).

Personally, I'd love to have some Simoun characters in captcha — that's not particularly /kind/-related, just my preference.

You should just make a captcha based on the arcane lore of /kind/ so only /kind/ frens will ever be able to post there

It has at least 2 PPW, though. And it can easily turn into 1 PPW if a lot of uncultured people were to barge in for a day and not assimilate. It's a trap of low PPD: if you lower defenses when PPD is low, it only goes down further, because it was the safety that provided retention.

That would be against /kind/ core principles. Anime captcha is the only reasonable solution, because it both serves as an entry exam, and doesn't alienate new /kind/ people. Plus, since the titles are all classics and anon hasn't seen some of them, it also serves as a recommendation, which is again /kind/.

My idea for a captcha would be to use a niche anime only wapchan users know while outsiders will struggle to figure it out
