Its not possible to have internet friends. You might meet people and develop a relationship over the wire, but unless you meet them in person, that's not a friendship. There's no friendship online. And since irl has been made barren by everyone offloading stuff onto the internet, there's no friendship there either.

I find communities of people with stuff I'm into, like anime series, and ramble about my interests until people befriend me. Basically I'm autistic and people like that. IDK.
Sadly I do it all on like big social media, so it can be a bit daunting, I imagine.
