I wanted to make this thread under multiple tags/directories like retro, jp, y2k, but made it in /gens
I came late. Latte to enjoy nashi.
Post qualities slightly deteriorated, with vectors where discussions lead. Jannies have not done proper curated hand-picked moderation, even to according with policies.
But still, Nashi had something special in it. Something that we don't have in internet forums anymore. Something from 2000s. With kindness, welcoming attitude.
Even when reading Nashi namef..I mean nameUsers, we could have seen some human approaches with no transphobia, no discrimination, unlike on other boards full of nationalistic pepe frogs that propelled alt-right.
Nothshing came to replace nashikouen, no new friendly site with wholesome css & without js didn't appeared.
People had hopes for nashikouen. I think poor & weak community management ended it.
hidden boards. hakoniwa. /pink /intro
And if nashimin thinks denpa-chan.org BBS is a proper replacement - it is not.
heyuri may be offered some hosting help & promotion among their userbase. But heyuri original userbase is a bit toxic, akin to soyjack.party, due heyuri contents/culture.

>>1919I used to go on nashi sometimes. Credit to them for making their own software.
I added a "Nashi Park" theme that replicated their CSS.

>>1921Yeah, its a shame it went down. I visited a couple times. As annoying as nostalgia can be and the connection with pedoyuri, you have to give them credit for that. Its a bit sad to see them go.

Part of the reason it died is because the owner is literally retarded. He never graduated high school and can barely speak english despite being american. His only redeemable quality is that he is a wizard at computers, knows every aspect of so mony programming languages and made his own bbs software(barely, it's just a fork off a shit one)
