>>5416But seriously, it's more of getting old guard back rather than getting new players I think. Bringing someone new to learn soku is way too big of a burden on that person it seems.
>>5418But, when old tourneys were happening, even if it was far from peak imageboard popularity they weren't dead as they are now.
One thing worth trying in my mind is 4/v/. Either making soku thread there or shilling in general fightans thread. Looking at archive, soku does get mentioned there from time to time from which we at least know we're looking for existing players rather than hoping someone except us looks in /vm/. If you have other places to shill in mind, go for all of them.

No.5461
>>5460ggs, tree spam saves the day once again
>why am I getting guard crushed on the corner even when my spirit is not low and is not sunshower?Suwako 5AAAA is an instant high crush, and it hits twice (and yes both hits crush). she also gets to combo from it if you don't mess up like i did
No.5462
>>5461>Suwako 5AAAA is an instant high crushWhaaaaat? should I block low then? that's BS….
No.5464
>>5462it hits high, you have to block high. which leads to a lot of funny dial A resets in the corner
No.5465
>>5464How do you counter this then? BE?
No.5466
>>5465the best way to counter it is, unironically, don't get cornered by Suwako. the BE timing is pretty tricky and the stagger window for the final hit of dial A is pretty large so it's unlikely you'll get it right consistently, and if you don't you'll get counterhit instead. blocking high is obviously safer than risking the crush, and 5AAA is -2 so technically you can mash, but again it has a large stagger window so you will probably get counterhit if you do this too often, and if you mash into a j5B you'll take like 3k damage instead
No.5467
>>5466Alright I checked the replay and now I get what was wrong, I thought that 5AAA crushed on high block hence my confusion, what happened is that I probably tried to 2BE the first hit and got crushed low instead.

IMPORTANT THING TO DO FOR EVERY PARTICIPANT:
0) Participation is MANDATORY. If you plan not to participate, replan otherwise this instant.
1) Download parsec
https://parsec.app/ and keyboard splitter github.com/djlastnight/KeyboardSplitterXbox/releases?ysclid=mkvgw72aqs217835706 and configure them BEFORE TOURNEY.
2) Catbox your profile NOW and send it here if you've never participated in 2vs2 soku gaming before/want any changes in decks.
3) (optional) Pick your teammate and sign up on challonge! Since you all are lazy asses, total amount and exact player roster is uncertain. If it stays this way, teams will be random.
Tourney will be twitched since I don't have access to wapstream system (and it doesn't work without VPN for me and you DON'T want me to parsec through VPN), so communication will either be in twitch chat or in this thread.

No.5532

>>5532>I think 3a works, at least for now as I dont know how to properly space it (or bait it and punish it)A good half of my 3As end up losing or trading with your j2As, even at this point. j6C also blows it up, so the actual success rate must be something like 20%. It's not a good anti-air option by any means, but I'm still grateful to have it for 3sc confirms.

>>5539>But why did the doll spellcard got me while blocking/flying? I don't remember "attacking" while it was coming. For some reason, it's an AUB spell. If you happen to block Alice's spinners in the air, it's a guaranteed hit for her.
