Hisoutensoku is an expansion to Touhou 10.5, made by Tasofro with ZUN's approval. It's a fast paced fighting game featuring all your favorites from the Touhou Project.

That's because Alice is actually super strong, only showing 10% of her full power. In reality, her f.5A and the 6As could start at her hitbox, her 3A could be AUB and her 2A could charge into guardcrush. But she chooses not to do that, because she's Alice.

Something I don't understand is why I can't hit these.
I know that due to my habits that you are already used to, when I throw bullets I jump behind to throw more bullets and I get it by melee(due to the HJ). Something I tried but with no avail is to throw bullets and jump forward melee to catch you like I wrote above
But it doesn't work! nothing works!

NTA but why would jumping closer to opponent instead of farther work against melee in the first place? You can't outhit enemy in air if you jump later. I actually have exact same problem, such situation requires frame-perfect stuff to work apparently.

I've tried jumping foward and backwards and meleeing at the very first frame it allows me to, and I get hit anyway, the issue is that the jump after throwing bullets is always a HJ so the melee is delayed.

what happens is that a card doesn't activate until spell flash, which means cards don't get consumed until then. but card consumption checks for the conditions of the first card currently in your hand, which gets shuffled if Mountain Vapor starts during spell start-up but before spell flash. so you end up using your spell while consuming a random card with a different cost
