CITY manga has a very special place in my heart, I cannot read it without smiling at least a little bit. I'm happy the anime is going to use very saturated flat colors just like the color pages.

CITY is arawi's style at it's most refined state. there are some things that are unique to nichijou, and you can personally enjoy it more. but from a technical standpoint, I'd say he is pushing his boundaries with CITY. I mean, what other manga has an 8-page interlinked 4-koma featuring the entire cast? that's just insane.

I'm very much looking forward to the CITY anime, I loved the manga and Arawi's style in general. I was hoping that one day an anime adaptation would be made and I'm glad that Kyoani is handling the adaptation. I can't wait for Ecchan and Matsuri to be animated.

Same here. A while back I remember telling a friend that I'd prefer a CITY anime than a second season of Nichijou then a few weeks later they actually announce the anime. It was crazy.
