Read the original VN. You may have spoiled the first route for yourself but if you haven't seen Unlimited Blade Works or Heaven's Feel then you still have a chance to experience a story you won't forget for the rest of your life. I hated Fate/zero. All of the adaptations are mediocre since they cut so much out and rush through the plot, especially the movie which somehow condenses everything into less than 2 hours. But that's if you're interested in the story in the first place.

I honestly have no idea what they changed it to in Realta Nua. From what I can tell it's something about blood sucking or some fucking gay shit about ancient dragons. But if you're that worried about your mommy walking in when you're watching then just play Realta Nua. Speaking of gay shit, I hate the atmosphere of the newer adaptations. The 2006 anime, while kind of plain, is an acceptable translation of the original VN's aesthetics and it also happens to contain a superior version of This Ilusion. UBW changes it into this marvel star wars Hollywood blockbuster trash. It disgusts me so much that I was never able to get past the first few episodes. It is also ruined by their insistence on making forced references to Fate/zero. Part of the reason why I watched it in the first place was because I was curious about what they all mean. What a waste of time that was.

Otherside Picnic was decent but felt a bit directionless for the most part. I think it would've been better had it just been an adventure of the two girls traversing the zone throughout with no link to Japan and back.. Still, the escape theme from that show was a banger.
