I pretty much agree with the general consensus: Seasons 1-2 were good but then the series took a nosedive.

mixed frankly, I used to be super invested back when it was still a niche web series but following Vol. 3 a lot of it’s appeal vanished. RWBY was never what I’d consider “well written” but it had its charm.

I had fun watching it when it was on. I also liked listening to mediaocrity4's RWBY podcast where they talk about what they like and rip apart what they hated.
Ironwood was based and did nothing wrong but the show just HAD to make him the bad guy.
Chapter 5 is the worst chapter by far. It's existence still has ramifications that messed up the rest of the show.
TL:DR - I like talking shit about it but I also enjoy it.
