I hate the remake

Anyone here fluent in Japanese? For the past few days, I have been working on dumping the text from this pretty unknown DS dating sim (at least in the English speaking communities). I was able to write a python program to decode the message files, but of course they're pure Japanese. I plan to rewrite this game for the desktop platform since trying to fit all of this text back in with only a hex editor seems like a massive pain, especially since I don't know where all the pointers are.
