Bee Train Thread anon 07/06/2022 (Wed) 16:24:02 No. 87
For the longest time I've been wanting to make a thread for Bee Train anime, so I've decided to finally get around to it. Kouchi Mashimo's "hospital for animators" is probably most well known for their "Girls With Guns" trilogy: Noir, Madlax, and El Cazador de la Bruja, but have several other lesser known series like Avenger, Tsubasa Chronicle, and the .hack series. Have you anons been watching any Bee Train anime lately? Do you have a favorite?

>>87 i've seen all three and noir is one of my favorite anime ever to exist for some reason even though it's not the most polished show around it has so much soul and atmosphere i love it, it influenced me in a big way. madlax was so bad it was hilarious but still a fun watch because i like to ponder themes that perhaps aren't there. el cazador de la bruja was ok but not as good as noir. in particular the noir bluray rips are just beautiful. these wide shots with the character in the center are likely influenced by john ford, since the director had admiration for him and it was ford's signature move of sorts.
